We strive to create a product that is both ethical & sustainable. Here is a brief look at how we do so.
From Resort 19 onwards we have moved our production to Italy. We have partnered with a boutique factory who have over 20 years experience producing swim & resort wear. Our choice to produce in Europe is to ensure we can visit regularly and guarantee that all employees are paid under EU guidelines and are provided with safe working conditions.
We can guarantee the safety & job security of those involved creating our garments and are proud of the relationship we have with the team.
In line with our move to Italy we have refined our fabric offering to one supplier. All swim fabric is produced using ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, carpet fluff, tulle etc. Our mill works in partnership with the Healthy Seas initiative who's objective is to collaborate with fishing communities to enforce preventative actions to reduce the pollution cause by discarding fishing nets & find solution for disposing of them in a financially & sustainable way, whilst also running training programmes to promote the importance of more environmentally responsible choices.
Our clothing, although man made viscose, is vegan and produced using processes that try to minimise environmental impact. This high quality Italian fabric is soft to touch and printed by local suppliers in our exclusive prints and colour ways.
Made in France, we use 24 karat dipped gold hardware. The quality of this product is the highest standard, and the choice to source within Europe is to again, ensure that the makers are paid properly and treated fairly.
As we grow we will strive to maintain our high ethical & sustainable standards. If you would like to learn more about the initiatives our suppliers have created and how they are changing the face of the industry please email firstname.lastname@example.org
